2017 | GRAPHIC NOTATION
Paz (the Spanish word for peace) is a graphic score from the Summer of 2017. The final version is yet to be completed. In the video, a second preparation sketch is on display. The acoustic component relates to the notion of healing and reconciliation. Sound was originally generated using a modular synthesizer, then resampled with the amazing MakeNoise Morphagene and re-arranged according to this score. A draft was finished in Mexico City during the rainy season, somewhere near the house where Leon Trotsky spent his final days. Paz is part of the 2019 EP release, P4C3.
